A newfound adoration of still-life
The following are some photos I took/toyed with over my weekend in Milwaukee. On the last day, Kristin was quite helpful in my realization that my camera has about eleventy times more awesome-picture-taking features that I was unaware of for the entire first year of ownership.
THEN… I finally joined the club and downloaded Picasa, and realized that whatever I screw up with my camera, I can fix and enhance to my heart’s content!
So I give you about a half hour of photo edits on some of my favorite pictures from the trip. Enjoy.

Milwaukee Public Market. So awesome, we visited twice. I terribly want one of these next door to me.
Awesome food… the beet chips were incredible. Oh, and dear waitress at the Water Street Brewery who served me this… will you marry me?
